Personally, I've never understood using rage or anger as motivation. There are some people out there who can harness anger to increase athletic performance but I'm not one of them. Most of the scientific literature out there actually has proven that a negative mood (feelings of anger, frustration, stress) can have a profoundly harmful effect on performance. It impairs your ability to concentrate, to focus your energy, and to interact with your teammates (if you play a team sport). Studies have also shown that anger can inhibit your strength and your speed. Finally a “bad mood” can also alter your entire perception of a sport or activity which leaves you unmotivated and unsure of yourself and your performance. I'm not here to suffer, cause harm to myself, or throw myself on some imaginary fire. I'm here to lift some weights, push my limits, improve and be the best version of myself that I can be. About that time for a #physique #update. #Maintaining this physique for a while now with just #fasting #daily till about 2 or 3 pm. I eat pretty late at night tho usually around 9 or 10pm. #weighttraining in the #gym just twice a week and one cardio day at home which typically consists of #punching bag and a variety #cardio #exercises, nothing crazy. Not bad at all. Need to #change it up soon tho if I want to see more #results.
